The mission of the Haddon Township Historical Society is to honor the history of Haddon Township by honoring its residents, past and present, and to promote the knowledge and appreciation of local heritage among its citizens. The Historical Society is a not-for-profit association operated for cultural and educational purposes complying with IRS code 501(c)(3).
The Haddon Township Historical Society is organized to inform and educate the public about the history of the Haddon Township community via lectures, printed materials, and public programs on local history topics. The historical society also collects and displays historical articles, publications, images, and information.
The Haddon Township Historical Society currently displays historical photographs and memorabilia at the Haddon Township Historical and Environmental Center, 143 E. Ormond Ave., Haddon Township, NJ. This facility is open to the public on the second Saturday of each month, 1 - 5 PM.
